I create lamps from everyday objects that we usually overlook: a terminal block, a push pin, a piece of packaging. And sometimes a rocket from Thunderbirds. By enlarging, distorting, or quite literally putting them in a different light, they take on a new meaning.
My work balances between pop art and design: familiar, playful, and slightly absurd. I mainly work with 3D-printed forms made from biodegradable filament, combined with natural materials such as wood veneer, cork and leftover scraps. This creates an unexpected mix of technology, estrangement, and nostalgia.
All light objects are made to order; colour and size. Variations upon request.
